Got the Italian hoagie and was apprehensive at first because I thought it was pricey at $15 for a hoagie with no sides. That being said, it was the best Italian hoagie I've ever had! Desserts look delicious, will have to try another time
I cannot say enough about RT 40 - They did a phenomenal job on my mother's bereavement luncheon. I took a gamble and contacted the deli and unknown to me it was owned by someone I knew from high school, which only makes it even better! Everyone at the luncheon loved the sandwiches, fruit/vegetable tray, potato and pasta salad plus, the cookie tray.... There is no other place you need to call for your catering - RT 40 Deli is the BEST!
I drive almost every day and never eat fast food. I am always happy when I am driving near Beallsville on Rt. 40 because I know I am about to have a super tasty lunch. Everything is fresh and delicious. The service is special. Every sandwich I try is better than the one before. The soups are pretty special. Macaroni salad too. Yummy.
If you're looking for The Best Italian Hoagie for a very Reasonable Price then you need to come here, also some great Chicken Salad and Homemade Soups, some great fresh deli lunch meats and Fantastic Cheeses. Remember don't judge a book by the cover!!
I was on my way home from Pittsburgh this afternoon and decided to try RT40 deli since I needed dinner when I got home. I have to say it was one of the best italian subs I've had in a long time. The lettuce and tomatos were fresh, The bun was just the right texture and it was loaded with meats. I got homemade italian dressing on the side and heated it up when I got home. Not sure if the owner waited on me but she was very pleasant and the young lady at the register was very nice also. I will stop there next time I go through Bealsville and try some of their other specialties.
